Shoreham-Wading River keeps on rolling.
Team 91 2021 Blaze midfielder Johnny Schwarz hammered home a hat trick and added an assist, while Xavier Arline (’20 Crush/North Carolina) dished out four assists as the Wildcats topped East Islip, 11-4, Thursday.
Alec Gregorek (’22 Smash) cranked home a pair of goals for SWR (5-0). John Sidorski (’19 Orange/Lehigh) scored once and tacked on an assist for East Islip.
St. Anthony’s 21, New Fairfield 11: Brennan O’Neill (’20 Crush/Duke) put up a six-goal, three-assist day for the Friars, who also got two goals from Aidan Danenza (’20 Crush/Duke) and a goal and an assist from Andrew McAdorey (’20 Crush). Daniel LePino (’20 Crush) made a pair of saves in split duty.
Kings Park 11, Bellport 4: Christian Michaels (’19 White/UMBC) was brilliant in goal for Kings Park, stuffing 16 shots in the win. Shawn Wolf (’19 White/Saint Joseph’s) carved out an assist for Bellport.
Garden City 11, Calhoun 2: Gavin Pappas (’19 White/Denison) scored twice and Will Puccio (’19 White/Trinity)added a goal as the Trojans knocked Calhoun from the ranks of the unbeaten. Nick Turrini (’19 Orange/Army) netted a goal for the Colts.
Mount Sinai 13, Eastport-South Manor 5: Joey Spallina (’20 Crush/’22 Bandits) set up four goals and tossed in a hat trick for good measure, while Tyler Gatz (’21 Blaze) paired two goals with an assist and Brandon Ventarola (’21 Smash) tacked on a goal and an assist. Kevin Sweeney (’20 Crush) chipped in an assist. Ryan Huff (’19 Orange/Penn State) and ’22 Smash Mike Katz each scored once for ESM.
Sayville 17, West Babylon 1: Nick Cannetti (’19 White/Florida Tech) buried a hat trick in the rout.
Manhasset 16, Long Beach 3: Chris Alcaraz (’19 White) put forth a two-goal, one-assist day to pace the Indians.
East Meadow 7, Seaford 4: Chris Barry (’21 Blaze) tallied once in the win.
Harborfields 17, Hauppage 3: Nick Caccamo (’20 Crush/Yale) had an assist and spearheaded a staunch defensive effort from the Tornadoes.
Westhampton 13, Glenn 11: Justin Tiernan (’19 Orange/Lehigh) nearly willed Glenn to a win by himself with a three-goal, five-assist day, and Cory Capri (’20 Orange) added two goals and an assist.
Islip 18, Half Hollow Hills West 11: Christian Mulé (’19 Orange/Duke) had a two-goal, one-assist day, and Danny Zabbia (’21 Ambush) netted two goals for Hills West. Gerald Filardi (’19 Orange/Penn State) tacked on an assist.
Port Jefferson 12, Mattituck/Southold 7: Dane Reda (’20 Crush) set up a pair of goals and scored another, while defenseman Colby Suglia (’20 Orange) also tallied once for Mattituck.
