Jameson Smith was on fire for Bayport-Blue Point.
The Team 91 2022 Smash midfielder and BBP freshman scored a career-high six goals and James Ringer (’19 Orange/Rutgers) paired two goals with four assists as the Phantoms cruised past Eastport-South Manor, 13-4.
JJ Aiello (’23 Bandits) scored once for the victors, who also got an assist from Gavin LoCascio (’22 Smash). Defenseman Vin Orlando (’19 White/Hobart) chipped in an assist. Mike Katz (’22 Smash) tallied once for ESM, while defenseman Larry Cangro (’19 Orange/Marist) set up a goal.
Glenn 13, Bellport 8: Justin Tiernan (’19 Orange/Lehigh) had a superb five-goal, three-assist day and Cory Capri (’20 Orange) wasn’t far behind with two goals and four helpers as Glenn toppled Bellport. The Clippers got three goals and two assists from Shawn Wolf (’19 White/Saint Joseph’s), a goal from LSM Robert Zahralban (’19 White/Alabama-Huntsville) and an assist from James MacGilvray (’19 White/Western Connecticut State).
Calhoun 10, Carey 4: Kyle Munson (’19 Orange/Drexel) was cool in the Calhoun cage with 13 saves and Nick Turrini (’19 Orange/Lehigh) added two goals and two assists.
Mount Sinai 11, Comsewogue 3: Joey Spallina (’20 Crush/’22 Smash) had two goals to go with three assists, Kevin Sweeney (’20 Crush) was 15-for-18 at the faceoff X, Tyler Gatz (’21 Blaze) added a goal and two helpers and Brandon Ventarola (’21 Blaze) contributed a goal and an assist as the Mustangs rolled.
Shoreham-Wading River 18, Islip 7: Xavier Arline (’20 Crush/North Carolina) tossed out five assists to go with a pair of goals, while Alec Gregorek (’22 Smash) and Johnny Schwarz (’21 Blaze) posted matching three-goal, one-assist days as the Wildcats walloped Islip. Gavin Gregorek (’20 Crush/Navy) tossed in two goals, and LSM Tyler Schwarz (’21 Blaze) added a snipe, while Rob Troyano (’21 Blaze) made a save in relief.
Harborfields 12, Mattituck/Southold 4: Another day, another double-digit ground ball game for Nick Caccamo. The ’20 Crush standout and Yale commit vacuumed up a dozen ground balls while also scoring a goal to lead the Tornadoes. Dane Reda (’20 Crush) found the back of the net once for Mattituck.
East Islip 7, Half Hollow Hills West 6: John Sidorski (’19 Orange/Lehigh) guided East Islip with a goal and two assists, which helped fend off a one-goal, three-assist effort from Christian Mulé (’19 Orange/Duke) and a two-goal day from Danny Zabbia (’21 Blaze).
Massapequa 16, Baldwin 5: Angelo Petrakis (’19 Orange/Cornell) went a perfect 14-for-14 at the faceoff X and also scored once and added an assist to pace the Chiefs’ rout. Anthony Mollica (’22 Smash) had a pair of goals, too.
Syosset 16, East Meadow 3: Andrew Giovinco (’19 Orange/Air Force) had a pair of assists, while Christian Lyons (’19 White/Manhattan) and Tommy Dolciotto (’20 Crush/Stony Brook) each tallied once as the Braves bashed East Meadow. Chris Barry (’21 Blaze) bagged two of the Jets’ three tallies, while Joe Giambald (’21 Ambush) had the other.
Garden City 17, MacArthur 7: Will Puccio (’19 White/Trinity) and Gavin Pappas (’19 White/Denison) each scored once for the Trojans. Joey Forchelli (’23 Warriors) set up a goal for MacArthur.
South Side 14, Long Beach 4: Nick LiCalzi (’20 Crush/Navy) led a stingy defense and tossed in a goal and an assist for good measure as South Side strolled to a win.
Sayville 12, Miller Place 6: Nick Cannetti (’19 White/Florida Tech) scored once to help Sayville to a win.
Chaminade 13, St. Anthony’s 7: Andrew McAdorey (’20 Crush) paced the Friars with a pair of goals, while Brennan O’Neill (’20 Crush/Duke) paired a goal with an assist and Aidan Danenza (’20 Crush/Duke) tacked on a goal.
Farmingdale 12, Port Washington 5: AJ Galassi (’19 Orange/Cornell) stopped a dozen shots for Port Washington.
