Alessandro Walaitis sure picked the right time for his biggest goal of the game.

The Team 91 2025 Hornets standout snapped home a top-shelf rocket in overtime to give Mepham an 11-10 win over crosstown rival Bellmore JFK on Friday.

Walaitis finished the game with five goals, his second game of the year with five tallies. He also handed out an assist for Mepham.

Bayport-Blue Point 11, Islip 4

’23 Warriors PJ Shanahan (St. Bonaventure) was the Phantoms’ ringleader with three goals and an assist as BBP rolled. ’24 Wolfpack Maclin Keyser (St. John’s) had two goals and an assist, while ’23 Bandits JJ Aiello (Navy) reversed that stat line.

The ’24 Wolfpack duo of Danny Aiello (Navy) and Ben Morris (Johns Hopkins) each tallied twice. ’23 Bandits Eric Grahn (Siena) and ’24 Wolfpack Brady Smith (Albany) each stopped five shots in the BBP cage.

Mount Sinai 18, Kings Park 4

’23 Warriors Cole Marsala (Quinnipiac) rang up his second straight four-goal, four-assist game to fuel the Mustangs’ blowout. It marked his fourth game this year with at least four assists. ’24 Wolfpack Lucas LaForge (Michigan) tallied a hat trick to go with three assists. ’23 Bandits Jake Spallina (Syracuse) racked up a hat trick to go with an assist, while ’23 Warriors Brayden Wilcken (LIU) made 15 stops to get the win.

Shoreham-Wading River 18, Eastport-South Manor 5

’24 Wolfpack Ryan Wilson paired a goal with an assist to highlight the Wildcats’ rout.

East Islip 13, Glenn 12

’25 Shock Matt Triolo bagged a pair of goals and set up another and ’23 Bandits defenseman Matt Bové (Manhattan) tossed in a goal for Glenn.
