Tyler Moore hasn’t wasted any time in making his impact felt as a sophomore.
The Team 91 2023 Warriors sniper has been a man on a mission in his first varsity campaign. Thursday, he continued his assault on nets with a hat trick and three assists to lead Connetquot to a 16-1 rout of Copiague.
It was Moore’s third performance of at least three goals in only five games for the Thunderbirds, who stayed perfect at 5-0. Moore has scored at least two goals in every game.
’23 Bandits Tyler McCarthy also had a strong day for Connetquot, posting two goals and an assist. He’s also scored at least twice in every game.
Commack 15, Babylon 9
’24 Wolfpack Luke Breslin snapped home a pair of goals to go with an assist in the win.
Sachem East 13, Sachem North 10
’21 Blaze Matt Keegan (Binghamton) did everything he could to keep Sachem North within striking distance with a five-goal, one-assist day. ’22 Smash Alex Pfeiffer (Albany) added two goals and two assists.
Whitman 11, Half Hollow Hills East 4
’21 Ambush Sam Rothman (Cortland) supplied half of Hills East’s offense by scoring twice.
