Luckily for the Wildcats, having Johnny Schwarz at your disposal can be a bit of a cheat code. The Team 91 2021 Blaze midfielder racked up a hat trick and dished out two assists as SWR came back from down five goals to knock off West Islip, 13-12.
It marked the second straight game with at least a hat trick for the North Carolina signee, recently named to the inaugural Nike National Senior All-Star Game. ’21 Blaze Robbie Troyano stopped seven shots to secure the win and ’24 Wolfpack Liam Gregorek won six of nine faceoffs and scored a goal.
Bayport-Blue Point 11, Islip 4
’22 Smash Jameson Smith (Johns Hopkins) paced the Phantoms with two goals and two helpers, while ’22 Smash Gavin LoCascio (UMass) and ’24 Wolfpack Ben Morris each snapped home hat tricks in the win. ’23 Bandits JJ Aiello scored once for BBP, which also got five saves from ’23 Bandits Eric Grahn in split duty.

’22 Smash Joey Spallina (Syracuse) led the Mustangs again with two goals and four assists and ’23 Bandits Jake Spallina won nine of 11 faceoffs to go with a goal and two assists. ’24 Wolfpack Lucas LaForge popped two goals and an assist in the win, while ’22 Smash James Carretta (Georgetown) tallied once.
