The Team 91 2023 Bandits and Friars sophomore attackman went off for St. Anthony’s, firing home a career-best seven goals to lead the Friars to a 15-11 win over their rival on Tuesday. It was the first of three games between the two teams, and the Friars came out with a decisive opening salvo.
’21 Andrew McAdorey (Duke) showed why he’s the consensus No. 1 recruit in the country, dishing out four assists to go with a pair of goals. ’21 Blaze Ryan Baudo (Western Connecticut) scored once for St. Anthony’s, which also got an assist from ’23 Bandits Jack Ponzio and ’23 Bandits Jackson Greene.
’22 Smash Jack Flaherty (Navy) led the way for the Flyers with a hat trick and an assist. ’21 Blaze Mac Rodriguez (Yale) had a half-dozen faceoff wins for Chaminade.
Smithtown East 17, Patchogue-Medford 11
’22 Smash Marcus Wertheim (Brown) set up four goals and added two more himself and ’21 Blaze Chris Cappelmann (Cornell) netted a hat trick to go with two assists as Smithtown East won a high-scoring shootout.
’21 Ambush Anthony Senecal tallied twice for Pat-Med and ’21 Ambush defenseman Drew Sumner (North Greenville) tossed in a goal.

’21 Blaze Chris Simonton (Providence) paced the Patriots’ shutout with two goals and four assists, ’23 Bandits Nikolas Barbero dished out two assists and ’21 Ambush LSM Deven Rauss (Cortland) set up a goal.

’21 Blaze Danny Caddigan (Cornell) led the Smithtown West blowout with a hat trick and two assists.
