It was the perfect way for Jack Garguilo to finish his hat trick.
The Team 91 2024 Orange standout collected a ground ball and hammered home a shot for the overtime winner as Massapequa topped Seaford, 10-9, Saturday.
The tally marked Garguilo’s third hat trick of the season. The win gave the Chiefs their fifth win in their past six games. ’27 Machine Rocco Spallina tallied twice and set up another goal. Massapequa also got a goal and a helper from ’26 Storm Tyler Byrnes, two assists from ’27 Machine Nolan Wieczorek and a goal from ’24 Orange Ricky Geier.
Northport 15, Sachem North 4
’25 Shock Dylan Baumgarth (Dartmouth) was a force at the faceoff stripe. He won 13 times and also tallied once to pace the Tigers. ’24 Wolfpack Quinn Reynolds doled out a pair of assists in the win.
Chaminade 14, Wilton 3
’25 Shock Hunter Kimball snapped home a goal for the Flyers, who also got an assist from ’25 Shock Cooper Mendelsohn in the victory. ’24 Wolfpack goalie Sal Caputo (Iona) recorded five saves in the Chaminade cage.
