Sal Caputo and Sean Connolly made sure to give Chaminade a boost in a battle against Darien, one of the top public programs nationally.
Caputo, the Team 91 2024 Wolfpack goalie and Iona signee, made a career-high 16 saves to backstop the Flyers to an 11-8 win.
Connolly, a ’25 Shock midfielder and Boston University commit, had a gorgeous interception that led to his transition goal to help tame the Blue Wave. ’24 Wolfpack Ben Fox (North Carolina) was a major force in limiting an explosive Darien offense.
Wantagh 8, Manhasset 6
’26 Storm Devin Paccione paired two goals with two assists and ’27 Machine Luke Martini added two tallies as the Warriors edged Manhasset.
’24 Wolfpack Mikey Mondiello (MIT) scored once for the Indians.
Huntington 13, Smithtown East 5
’25 Shock Tommy Kline (Loyola) scored twice and dished out two assists to lift the Blue Devils. ’25 Shock Timmy McDonald doled out one helper for Huntington.
Half Hollow Hills 21, Commack 6
’25 Shock Anthony Raio (North Carolina) was his usual ridiculous self with seven goals and two assists to pace Hills. ’25 Shock LSM Joe Filardi (Syracuse) set up four goals and added an assist. ’25 Shock goalie Sal Santoro stopped 14 shots for his ninth game of double-digit stops this year.
’25 Shock James Pagano (Brown) shouldered the scoring load for Commack with a hat trick, his seventh of the season.
Sachem North 18, Copiague 1
’25 Hornets Thomas Keegan was the ultimate quarterback of Sachem North’s offense, dishing out six assists to go with a goal as the Arrows fired past Copiague.
Patchogue-Medford 19, Brentwood 0
’25 United Kieran McGovern collected his first hat trick of the season to go with an assist as Pat-Met cruised.
Kings Park 12, Glenn 3
’27 Machine Grayden Aebisher fired home a goal for Glenn.
