Andrew McAdorey helped make sure that Duke‘s season kept going.
Saturday’s tilt between the Blue Devils and Virginia meant that the winner made it to the ACC tournament and the loser’s season was done. McAdorey made sure to give the Blue Devils a chance to make noise in the postseason with a great pass to set up teammate Benn Johnston’s overtime winner in Duke’s 10-9 win. ’23 Bandits Jack Speidell (St. Anthony’s) came through in the clutch with the game-winning goal with 58 seconds to play as the Crimson fended off Brown’s upset bid. Speidell also added an assist, a ground ball and a pair of takeaways. ’23 Bandits Jackson Greene (St. Anthony’s) added a pair of ground balls for Harvard.
’22 Smash Marcus Wertheim (Smithtown East) buried two goals to go with four ground balls and a caused turnover for the Bears. ’20 Crush SSDM Kevin Sweeney (Mount Sinai) capped his Brown career with a takeaway and a ground ball.

’23 Bandits Owen Duffy (St. Anthony’s) helped the Tar Heels earn a share of the ACC regular-season title with four assists and two ground balls. ’20 Crush Ryan Levy (East Chapel Hill, N.C. / Taft, Conn.) added a goal in the win.
’22 Smash Joey Spallina (Mount Sinai) eclipsed the 70-point plateau for the second time in his career thanks to a five-assist outing to go with three ground balls. ’22 Smash Michael Leo (St. Anthony’s) tallied twice and caused a turnover. ’20 Crush Tyler Cordes (C0nnetquot) found the back of the cage once, while ’23 Bandits Tyler McCarthy (Connetquot) added two ground balls for the Orange.

’23 Bandits Jordan Faison (Pine Crest, Fla.) set up a goal to help jumpstart the Irish’s comeback. The two-sport star also added a trio of ground balls for Notre Dame. ’19 Orange LSM Greg Campisi (St. Anthony’s) caused a turnover in the win.

’22 Smash Alex Pfeiffer (Sachem North) sniped a pair of goals for Albany, which also got a faceoff win and a ground ball from ’22 Smash Austin Oppenheim (Mount Sinai). ’22 Smash defenseman Max Neeson (Pottsgrove, Pa.) rounded out the win with a ground ball.

’23 Warriors Ronan Fitzpatrick (Sayville) snapped home a pair of goals to go with an assist, two ground balls and a caused turnover for the Tigers. The win completed Towson’s 7-0 jaunt through the CAA and gave the Tigers the top seed in this week’s conference tournament.
