The Team 91 2020 Crush standout by way of Half Hollow Hills East took the ball away from his man on an over-the-head check at GLE and Johns Hopkins secured the ensuing ground ball to cement a 15-14 win over Saint Joseph’s.
Martin finished with three takeaways and a ground ball for Hopkins, which won its second straight game. ’19 White defenseman Alex Keener (Bethpage) had a pair of takeaways and two ground balls for the Hawks.

’19 Orange running mates Christian Mulé (Half Hollow Hills West) and Justin Tiernan (Glenn) each bagged a hat trick, dished out two assists and grabbed a ground ball to pace the Mountain Hawks’ win over the Midshipmen.
’20 Crush Xavier Arline (Shoreham-Wading River) handed out three assists to go with a goal and a ground ball. ’22 Smash Jack Flaherty (Chaminade) scored once and picked up a ground ball, while ’20 Crush defenseman Nick LiCalzi (South Side) caused a turnover and picked up a ground ball for Navy.

’20 Crush Brennan O’Neill (St. Anthony’s) tallied four times and set up two more for his fourth straight game of at least five points and ’19 Orange LSM Tyler Carpenter (Salisbury, Conn.) racked up a half-dozen ground balls and a caused turnover as the Blue Devils won in overtime.
The ’20 Crush and St. Anthony’s duo of Andrew McAdorey (two ground balls) and Aidan Danenza (one ground ball) each tallied once for Duke. ’19 Orange defenseman Kenny Brower (Massapequa) scooped up a trio of ground balls and took the ball away once. ’18 Extreme Owen Caputo (Middle Creek, N.C.) set up a goal, while his brother, ’19 Orange Jake Caputo had a caused turnover in the win.
’22 Smash Joey Spallina (Mount Sinai) tallied once and set up two more goals for the Orange. ’20 Crush defenseman Nick Caccamo (Harborfields) picked up three ground balls on the back end.

’20 Crush LSM Chris Bardak (St. Anthony’s) caused a whopping five turnovers and snatched up a quartet of ground balls to lead a Falcons defense that only yielded one first-half goal en route to victory.

’19 Orange LSM Greg Campisi (St. Anthony’s) was a beast once again for the Crimson, collecting a half-dozen ground balls and causing a turnover to highlight the Crimson’s stingy defensive effort.

’18 Extreme All-American LSM Ethan Rall (Islip) was a force against the Utes, dislodging a trio of turnovers and snagging five ground balls to help the Scarlet Knights finish their two-game sweep last week.
Rall also added a ground ball and a caused turnover against the Johnnies. Rutgers also got an assist and a ground ball from ’19 Orange James Ringer (Bayport-Blue Point) and a pair of saves in spotless relief from ’18 Extreme goalie Anthony Palma (East Islip).
’21 Blaze Matt Keegan (Sachem North) bombed home a pair of goals for his third multi-goal game of the year and ’18 Extreme defenseman Max Verch (Syosset) caused a turnover and grabbed a ground ball to lead the Bearcats in a thriller over the Red Storm.
’19 Orange stopper Kyle Munson (Calhoun) made 11 saves and had a pair of ground balls against Rutgers. He followed it up with 12 saves and a pair of ground balls against Binghamton. ’20 Orange defenseman Jack McCarthy (Connetquot) started his first two games of the year and came away with a combined five ground balls and a takeaway. ’18 Extreme SSDM Drew Martin (Half Hollow Hills East) took the ball away once against Rutgers.

’20 Crush SSDM Kevin Sweeney (Mount Sinai) pocketed a goal and ’22 Smash Marcus Wertheim (Smithtown East) dished out an assist and had a ground ball to help the Bears storm back to down the Seawolves.
’19 Orange Blake Behlen (Commack) tossed in two goals to go with an assist and two ground balls for Stony Brook. ’22 Smash Sean Carlo (Wantagh) snatched up a ground ball.

’19 Orange Angelo Petrakis (Massapequa) won five faceoffs to go with a ground ball in the win over the Statesmen. He also chipped in a faceoff win as the Big Red downed the Buckeyes.
’19 White defenseman Vincent Orlando (Bayport-Blue Point) collected one ground ball for Hobart against Cornell.

’21 Blaze Brandon Ventarola (Trinity-Pawling) zipped home a goal to help the Big Green stay undefeated.
’20 Crush defenseman Trevor Marsala (Mount Sinai) took the ball away twice for the Saints, who also got an assist from ’21 Ambush Ryan McCarthy (Northport).

’21 Blaze defenseman Aidan McCaffrey (Comsewogue) was a takeaway terror for the Red Foxes, stripping opponents four times and picking up a ground ball to lead Marist to its first win of the year.

’22 Smash defenseman Max Neeson (Pottsgrove, Pa.) grabbed a pair of ground balls to help the Great Danes secure coach Scott Marr‘s 200th career win.

’19 White Christian Lyons (Syosset) scored twice and added a ground ball for the Jaspers.

’19 White Billy Gordon (St. Anthony’s) tallied twice, picked up two ground balls and caused a turnover against Lynn before scoring once, setting up another, snatching up two ground balls and causing a turnover against Florida Southern.

’18 Extreme Robbie Varello (Smithtown East) had two goals and four ground balls and ’18 Extreme Jake Wandle (Rocky Point) scored once and set up another to help the Rams to their first win of the year. Varello followed it up with three goals, an assist and two ground balls, while Wandle tacked on two goals and a helper in the rout of Hartwick.
’20 Varsity defenseman Nick Cacciola (Shoreham-Wading River) caused a turnover for Hartwick.
