It was a pretty good week to be Justin Lynskey and Holy Cross.
The Team 91 2016 alum by way of Massapequa had a pair of monster performances in the Crusaders' 11-10 win over Brown and 12-9 triumph over Navy. He racked up three assists, a goal and a ground ball against the Bears, then followed it up with four goals, a ground ball and two ground balls.
As a result, Lynskey earned honorable mention Player of the Week honors from the Patriot League.
Penn State 13, Maryland 10
Mac O'Keefe and the top-ranked Nittany Lions earned the first win over Maryland in program history. O'Keefe had two goals and two assists for Penn State.
Virginia 16, Richmond 7
Virginia 17, Utah 6
Ian Laviano continued his reign of terror on opposing goalies with a three-goal, two-assist, two-ground ball day in a walloping of the Spiders, then later added four goals as the 'Hoos upended the first-year Utes for their seventh straight win.
Farmingdale State 21, Keystone 2
Jake Wandle had an assist and a ground ball as the Rams cruised.
Yale 13, Air Force 6
Penn 13, Yale 12
Lucas Cotler had an assist in the Bulldogs' win over the Falcons, who got a ground ball from Vin Lombardi. The Quakers got a pair of assists from Sean Lulley to knock off the defending national champions in triple overtime, giving red-hot Penn its fifth straight win and second in a row over a top-10 opponent. Cotler scored once in the loss for Yale.
Cornell 15, Dartmouth 5
Joe Bartolotto paced a stingy Big Red defense with a caused turnover and a ground ball. Jack Richardson knocked out a pair of turnovers and also scooped up a ground ball for the Big Green.
Notre Dame 13, Syracuse 10
Jack Zullo stopped a shot in relief in the Irish's big win.
Mount St. Mary's 14, Sacred Heart 10
Joe Cipoletti nearly singlehandedly willed the Pioneers to a win with a ridiculous five-caused turnover, eight-ground ball day.
Robert Morris 15, Saint Joseph's 9
Matt Tufano scored twice to go with an assist and Ryan Doran paired a goal with a helper, two ground balls and a caused turnover for the Hawks.
Towson 10, Hofstra 9
Ryan Tierney bagged four goals for the Pride, which also got 10 saves and two ground balls from Bobby Casey and an assist and a ground ball from Riley Forte.
Detroit Mercy 12, Marist 11
Jake Weinman tucked home a goal and added two assists for the Red Foxes.
North Carolina 10, Duke 8
Jordan Ginder won seven faceoffs and had a ground ball for the Blue Devils, who also got a ground ball from Owen Caputo.
Johns Hopkins 14, Michigan 8
Kevin Mack had a goal and an assist to pace the Wolverines.
Delaware 15, Fairfield 7
Taylor Strough had a goal and a ground ball for the Stags.
Denver 16, Georgetown 9
Joe LiCalzi caused a turnover and collected a ground ball for the Hoyas.
Canisius 12, Monmouth 2
Casey Kimmel had three ground balls and a caused turnover for the Hawks.
