Sam Lutfi made sure that Massapequa didn't miss its chance to clinch the top seed in the playoffs.
The Team 91 2019 Orange attackman and Hofstra commit erupted for a whopping seven goals and '19 Orange teammate Angelo Petrakis won 16 of 23 faceoffs as the Chiefs rolled past Syosset, 14-5.
Lutfi's night gave him 36 goals on the season, including six hat tricks. Petrakis, a Cornell commit, also tossed out a pair of assists, and Kenny Brower ('19 Orange/Duke) spearheaded a defense that only yielded two goals in the first three quarters.
Andrew Giovinco ('19 Orange/Air Force) and Christian Lyons ('19 White/Manhattan) each scored for Syosset.
West Islip 6, Connetquot 5: Jared Paquette ('19 White/Yale) came up big again for West Islip, denying 11 shots sent his way, which offset a pair of goals from Tyler Cordes ('20 Crush/Navy).
Half Hollow Hills East 11, Floyd 3: LSM Sal Pascarella ('19 White/Saint Joseph's) went off for Hills East, scoring three times and setting up two more goals, and Brett Martin ('20 Crush/Johns Hopkins) added a goal and two assists in the win. Sam Rothman ('21 Ambush) scored twice and Elijah Faltz ('21 Ambush) added a goal to round out the rout.
Smithtown West 17, Riverhead 4: Danny Caddigan ('21 Blaze) did Danny Caddigan things again, ripping home eight goals, and Marc Cottage ('19 White/Wingate) added two goals and six assists as the Bulls ran by Riverhead. Spencer Frank ('19 White/Hartford) dished out four helpers.
Port Jefferson 15, Rocky Point 6: Teddy Accardi ('19 White/Air Force) had four goals and an assist, but it wasn't enough to upend Port Jeff, which got two goals and an assist from Jack Speidell ('23 Bandits).
Bethpage 11, Seaford 6: Brandon Bestany ('19 White/McDaniel) buried four goals to pace Bethpage. Andrew Searing ('20 Orange) scored twice for Seaford.
Garden City 11, Hewlett 3: Will Puccio ('19 White/Trinity) scored twice and Gavin Pappas ('19 White/Denison) added a goal for the Trojans.
Patchogue-Medford 8, South Fork 7: Adrian Rutkowski's ('20 Orange) one-goal, one-assist day led Pat-Med, which also got a goal from Anthony Senecal ('21 Ambush).
Port Washington 15, Baldwin 5: AJ Galassi ('19 Orange/Cornell) made a half-dozen saves as Port Washington rolled.
Friends Academy 11, Floral Park 9: Michael Walrath ('21 Ambush) found the back of the net once in the win.
Northport 10, Sachem North 7: Ryan McCarthy ('21 Ambush) chipped in an assist as Northport won its fifth straight.
Bay Shore 18, Whitman 2: Jayson Tingue ('20 Crush) stopped seven shots to record the win.
Kellenberg 14, East Meadow 3: Chris Barry ('21 Blaze) and Joe Giambald ('21 Ambush) each tallied once for East Meadow.
Huntington 8, Commack 3: Blake Behlen ('19 Orange/Farmingdale State) set up a goal for Commack.
